We will spend a summer day exploring the amazing wild fibres that grow around us. From nettle and bramble to willow bark, soft rush and iris leaves; we will harvest, look at different processing techniques, and make lengths of cordage to discover some of the textile and basketry potential held within these plants. This is a great introduction to a range of material processing techniques that will leave you with skills and inspiration for crafting with foraged plant fibres.
